Fungicides

Systemic & direct contact, as well as preventative &/or curative products for a wide range of turf fungal diseases. Not all fungicides & their groups act in the same way.

Tip #1: Correctly identify the disease & choose the most appropriate fungicide & 'Group'. Each fungicide group has a different mode of action to kill the fungal disease/s.

Tip #2: Apply the chosen fungicide/s correctly on the plant, ie Tips, crown or roots.

Tip #3: Use the correct nozzle to apply. Generally a TeeJet AIXR matched to the output of your sprayer is required & stated on the label.

Tip #4: Rotate or alternate your fungicide groups to avoid resistance issues. A general rule of thumb is NOT to use the same fungicide group more than twice in a row.

Tip #5: READ THE LABEL. NOT just the rates box, but further down the label into sub-categories of 'Compatibilities', 'Safety & PPE', 'Application Methods', etc. Every label will help to make your mind up as to which fungicide is going to work best in your situation.
