Mineral Magic Lawn Conditioner - 20kg

Mineral Magic is a unique natural biogenic rock mineral that dramatically improves the water holding capacity of soils and reduces plant stress in extreme conditions. The 'Lawn Conditioner' is the same material as the 'Garden Conditioner', conveniently in smaller chip size to work beneath blades of grass when used for top dressing.

The result is a stronger healthier lawn less likely to suffer from severe pest and disease attacks. Ideal for top dressing existing turf grass and improving soil ready for laying new lawns. A 100% natural, organic and waterwise approved input that permanently improves soil structure.

Rates:

The recommended rate for lawns is 500 grams per sqm, which has measurable beneficial results that are improved by adding it with mature compost.

The more Mineral Magic you add, the more water and nutrients are held in the soil, choose to add between 500 gms to 10 kgs per sqm. If your garden area is 80 sqm, two 20 kg bags would permanently treat it at the lowest rate.

• From 500g per square metre increases plant available water and results in healthier, more robust plant growth. 
  The hotter and drier the weather, the more material can be added. 

• New lawns, prior to planting, seeding or turfing spread 500 gms per square metre and hoe it into the top 10 cm. Adding a 30cm layer of organic soil conditioner and hoeing both in will have even better results.
  
• Existing lawns, add a total of 500 gms per square meter in multiple applications. For example, 250 grams per square meter added twice, a few weeks apart. Mineral Magic can be mixed with other mediums such as coir or organic soil conditioner and added after coring the lawn area. Common ratios are between 10% to 40% of the other medium. 
• Construction / Bare Soil   – 500gms/m2
• Existing Turf – Renovation (Coring, Verticut etc )   – 250gms/m2
• Existing Turf – Topdress and/or mixed in sand   – 100gms/m2
